READING TERMS: Setting, plot, character, conflict, theme, symbol, irony, mood, author style.

 

Students should be reading nightly, approximately 30 minutes per night to increase retention and improve in all areas of comprehension.



Homework for Tonight:  

Students should review their summer reading assignments and be prepared for their summer reading quiz on Tuesday, September 8th


Students should bring an appropriate individual reading book to class daily, along with folder and students agenda for writing assignments.
