Welcome to 6th grade! Sixth grade is an exciting year as students begin their middle school careers. As you/your child's Language Arts teacher, it is my goal to foster a love of literacy in students through Reader's and Writer's Workshop. In my classroom, we get student choice for books to read, take ownership over the work we do in independent books, engage in book clubs, and write across a variety of genres.
