How to Cite Your Sources

At Delran Middle School we use the MLA (The Modern Language Association of America) format for citation. This means that every research assignment you turn in should include a list of Works Cited. A Works Cited page acknowledges the authors and works you read in the course of your research.
There are resources available in our library to help you cite your sources. Don't forget to use your teachers and librarian as resources as well. We would be happy to help you with this.

It is so important to remember to give credit to the authors whose works and ideas you draw from. Creating a Works Cited page and using textual citations can be easy if you know the rules. Feel free to ask for help with this when you visit the library!
